ISO 22000:2018
published June 19, 2018, this Standard aims at ensuring consumer protection and strengthening consumer confidence and lays down the key elements to be followed in the food safety management system, with a view to reducing risks throughout the supply chain.
Both the 2005 and 2018 versions are currently valid. From 19 June 2021, all certificates under the 2005 version cease to be valid, leaving only the 2018 version. It uses ISO’s High-Level Structure, making it fully compatible with other ISO standards.
