The Competency-Based Job Interviewing Course is designed to strengthen Human Resources professionals', recruiters' and middle managers' skills in improving selection processes. Participants will identify a position's key competencies and evaluate candidates using objective, performance-related criteria.
Through a practical and structured methodology, the different stages of a competency-based interview are explored, from planning through closing and assessment. Skills are also developed in rapport, verbal and non-verbal communication, as well as techniques for recording evidence and drawing conclusions that support the hiring decision.
The aim is for participants to be able to conduct more objective and reliable interviews, effectively evaluate skills and make better selection decisions, helping bring in talent aligned with the organization’s needs and objectives.
