Core Tools Manager + Exemplar Global International Certification

Training course designed to meet your need to update your knowledge of the following tools:

  • APQP (Advanced Product QualityPlanning)
  • PPAP (Production Part Approval Process)
  • MSA (Measurement Systems Analysis)
  • SPC (Statistical Process Control)
  • PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
  • Control plan.

Based on this requirement, I am pleased to introduce the formal course proposal, based on an instructional methodology beginning with in-person workplace training.

Objectives:

  • To understand the statistical tools necessary to register, measure and control manufacturing processes
  • Understand the basic concepts and statistical tools for analyzing measurement systems
  • To understand the methodology for developing tools.

Intended for:

  • Area engineers

At the end of the course:

  • The participant will get the latest updates about tools.
  • Participants will learn techniques and methods for the correct use of tools.
  • The participant will clearly understand the usefulness of each of the tools.

Module 1: PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)

Provides tools for risk analysis in new products or processes, major process or specification modifications, and major changes in functional process locations.

  • Introduction to Core Tools.
  • Definition of FMEA (AMEF).
  • Types of FMEA (AMEF).
  • FMEA Implementation (AMEF).

Module 2: SPC Statistical Process Control

SPC is simply statistical process control with a well-defined focus on automotive processes. It relates to MSA, especially in long-term stability studies.

  • Introduction to the SPC.
  • Variable Control charts.
  • Attribute Control Charts.
  • Process Capability.

Module 3: MSA Measurement Systems Analysis

MSA harmonizes criteria for accepting or releasing a measurement system, focusing primarily on studying and controlling measurement system variability and its relationship to production processes.

  • General Guidelines for Measurement Systems.
  • General Concepts for Evaluation of Measurement Systems.
  • Best Practices for  Replicable Measurement Systems.

Module 4: Control Plan.

Specify the quality controls applied to any process or set of processes intended to produce a product.

  • Function.
  • Preparation.
  • Importance.

Module 5: PPAP Production Part Approval Process

The purpose of PPAP is to ensure that all customer engineering records and specifications are clearly understood.

  • Approval of production parts
  • Requirements
  • Customer Notifications.
  • Issuance levels.
  • Part submission status.
  • Records retention.

Module 6: APQP Advanced Product Quality Planning

Advanced product planning is a methodology manufacturers or suppliers follow to achieve a finished product. It is very important in complex projects because it greatly facilitates communication among those involved, whether internal corporate departments or customers and suppliers.

  • Introduction.
  • Requirements
  • Feedback, Evaluation and Corrective Actions.
